We believe that a great story is a bridge between generations. Our journey began with a simple goal: to create a 'home base' for readers of every age. Whether it’s a whimsical animal adventure that teaches a child the power of kindness or a soul-stirring romance that offers adults much-needed escape, we believe every book should be a sanctuary.
From the playroom to the porch swing, we aim to provide high-quality, beautifully crafted literature that stays with you long after you put the book down. By blending the vibrant, educational worlds of our Tumbleberry Tales children's series with the relatable, deep emotions of our Stuck on Love novels, we strive to foster a lifelong love of reading. For Young Readers
The heart behind our stories
Charissa Stastny's journey as a storyteller began in a second-grade classroom. With a degree in Elementary Education, she's seen firsthand how a single book can spark a child’s imagination and build their confidence. That passion for character-building and whimsical discovery is what drives every page of Tumbleberry Tales. While Charissa still enjoys painting landscapes the "old-school" way, she's embraced the cutting edge for her books—blending her vision with digital tools like ProCreate and Canva, and leveraging AI to illustrate the vibrant, high-detail worlds her characters call home.
But her love for story doesn’t end when the school bell rings or her grandkids go home. As an author, she's always been drawn to the beauty of second chances and redemption. Her romance novels are written for grown-up hearts—offering a heartfelt sanctuary where readers can escape, relate, and find hope.
Whether she's hiking the Utah trails or spending time with her growing family, she's constantly inspired by the world around her. Here at Tangled Willow Press, she's honored to share that inspiration with you—nurturing a love of reading in the little ones we lead, while providing a soulful retreat for the readers we’ve become.
